CE1: Determine the layout and types of container handling equipment in a port

• Identify the common road signs in the port

• Identify the road markings in the port

• Identify layout of the port and safe driving routes

• Identify types of container handling equipment in the port

• Identify types of containers in the port

CE2: Apply safety rules when driving in the port

• Apply the common driving rules and safety regulations in a port

• Identify the type of turns when operating in operation areas

• Identify safety measures to adopt at traffic junctions

• Identify safety measures to adopt at operation areas

• Apply the emergency response procedures

CE3: Conduct container haulage operations

• Identify the procedures pertaining to transporting containers into and out of a ports’ IN/OUT Gates

• Apply procedures for leaving a port with empty container/empty trailer

• Apply procedures for mounting and offloading containers from and onto trailers at the wharf and in the container

• Apply procedures for performing direct delivery operations

CE4: Perform operations at the ICA/customs checkpoints and scanning stations

• Identify the layout of the ICA/customs checkpoints at a port

• Apply the procedures for transport containers for scanning of cargo at the scanning stations

• Apply the procedures for transport containers through ICA/customs checkpoints
