The International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code was amended by Resolution MSC 262(84). One of the new mandatory requirements from the amendment is for shore personnel involved in handling or documentation of dangerous goods to undergo mandatory training.
It is recommended to attend a refresher course once every 24 months to take account of changes in regulations and practice.
At the end of the course, participants will refresh their knowledge and understanding of the basic requirements of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code.
Written Assessment
Shore-based personnel engaged in the transport of dangerous goods intended to be transported by sea.
